Do you provide a written summary?
Yes — you receive a short written roadmap (steps, timeline, and what to prepare next), where applicable.
What should I prepare before the call?
Activity description, founders (EU/non-EU), shareholders count, and your target setup (banking/VAT, staff, EU operations).
Can you help end-to-end after the consultation?

Consultation Preparation

What to prepare before your consultation

For simpler consultations, a clear description of your case is often enough. For more complex regulatory, tax, corporate, immigration, or documentation-related matters, documents should be sent in advance so we can prepare properly and give you a more precise assessment.

Where to send your documents
Please send your documents and a short case summary to: [email protected]
For more complex consultations, please book your slot at least 2 business days after sending the documentation, so we can review the legal framework, relevant practice, and, where needed, contact the relevant authorities or institutions.

01. General Legal and Business Consultations

Please send: a short description of the issue, the goal of the consultation, any relevant correspondence, contract, invoice, offer, or other supporting document if available.

Note: For basic consultations, a clear description of the situation is often enough. If you need a more precise document or contract review, please send the material in advance.

02. Company Formation / Tax and Corporate Setup

Please send: a description of the business activity, details of the shareholders and directors, the intended operating model, whether the company will operate only in Bulgaria or cross-border, whether VAT, employees, a bank account, or a registered address will be needed, and any draft structure if available.

For more complex cases: if there are multiple shareholders, investor structures, UBO questions, cross-border elements, or tax exposure, documentation should be sent in advance for proper preparation.

03. Licensing and Regulatory Matters

Please send: the list of products or services, a description of the business model, declarations, certificates, technical sheets, product composition, supplier documentation, import documents, and confirmation of whether the goods have already been imported and legally placed on the market.

Important: These consultations often require additional preparation, legal and regulatory review, and in some cases contact with relevant authorities or regulatory bodies. Documents should therefore be sent in advance.

04. Workforce, HR and Immigration

Please send: the number of workers, position profiles, citizenship of the candidates, recruitment plan, any existing contracts or internal policies if available, and information on where the workers will actually perform the work — in Bulgaria or in another EU country.

For more complex cases: if third-country nationals, residence grounds, work permits, or A1-related issues are involved, relevant details and documents should be sent in advance.

05. Residency, Visas and A1 / Mobility

Please send: passport or basic personal details, current residency status, the purpose of the application, previous permits if any, and basic family or employment information relevant to the case.

Note: if the matter is more complex or involves multiple countries, previous refusals, employment relationships, or status-related issues, documents should be sent in advance.

06. Bulgarian Citizenship

Please send: documents related to origin, personal details, any Bulgarian or foreign documents already available, extracts, older family records, certificates, decisions, or other supporting material if you already have it.

Important: for screening and a realistic eligibility assessment, documents should be sent in advance. In some cases, additional legal and procedural checks may be required.

07. Market Analysis and Sales Development

Please send: a description of the product or service, target market, current sales model, competitors if known, intended channels, budget range, and what you want the analysis to focus on.

For more detailed analysis: the more useful input we receive in advance, the more practical and tailored the consultation will be.

08. Real Estate and Construction

Please send: information about the property or project, location, documentation status, the purpose of the purchase or construction, draft contracts, plans, permits, or other relevant papers if available.

Note: for investment or more complex projects, documentation should be sent in advance to allow proper preparation and risk review.

09. Ongoing Advisor / Retainer

Please send: a short overview of the company or project, the areas where you need ongoing support, the expected scope of work, and the existing documentation relevant for long-term cooperation.

Important: retainer cooperation starts with an initial review of the situation, priorities, and potential risks so the support can be structured and efficient.

10. Accounting, Tax and VAT

Please send: the company name and EIK if it already exists, your VAT status, a short description of the activity, the approximate number of documents per month, and any statement, contract or invoice the question relates to. For cross-border questions, also tell us which countries are involved and where stock, staff or customers are located.

Note: A consultation answers a defined question in the meeting itself. A document review, a scope and risk assessment, a written opinion or a cross-border memorandum are prepared in writing and therefore need preparation time — from 2 working days for a review of up to 10 documents, up to 10 working days for a complex cross-border memorandum. Please send the documentation before booking, so the preparation can start.

Practical note: If you are not sure what exactly should be sent, you can first email us a short summary of your case at [email protected]. We will then let you know whether a simple consultation is sufficient or whether documents need to be reviewed in advance for proper preparation.
